OPTICAL SHEET AND BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY HAVING THE SAME

An optical sheet comprises a base film, a guide unit, and an identification unit. The base film diffuses or concentrates an incident light. The guide unit is formed by protruded from a first side of the base film. The identification unit is indicated by a symbol in some parts of the guide unit and can be any one of number, letter, color, and bar code. Further, a mold frame of the backlight assembly comprises an aperture for exposing the identification unit. Thus, an operator can reduce defective rate caused by erroneous assembly of the optical sheet by admitting the identification unit through the aperture.
