The present invention provides a method for automatically generating tool routes and a recording medium thereof. The method is to automatically generate tool routes for surface-machining tool including offsetting with a simple way by dividing boundary loops or island loops which are an area to be machined into main loops and auxiliary loops to be offset, removing some offset area of the main loops where the auxiliary loops are combined after offsetting the main loop, and connecting the tool routes without air cutting after the auxiliary loops are inserted in the obtained offset area of the main loop.
