PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of stratification of sucked gas even when opening/closing responsiveness of a valve is moderate in an intake control device for an internal combustion engine that alternately sucks gases having different concentrations to a combustion chamber by using the valve.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 10 includes two intake ports that are a tumble generation port 61 and a swirl generation port. A change-over valve 37 is installed upstream of the tumble generation port 61. The change-over valve 37 switches a passage opening on a common passage 28 from the change-over valve 37 to an intake valve 15 to either one of a passage 27 in which EGR lean gas having a lean EGR concentration flows or a passage 25 in which EGR rich gas having a rich EGR concentration flows. With the EGR lean gas filled in the common passage 28, the passage 25 is opened before opening of the intake valve 15. In an intake stroke, the EGR lean gas in the common passage 28 is sucked and subsequently, the EGR rich gas is sucked. |
