PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid SL1 in which a collision noise reducing effect is not reduced due to a change over time and leakage of collision sound can be restricted by having an acoustic isolation effect.SOLUTION: In a solenoid SL1, when a movable iron core 18 is attracted by a stationary iron core 17, a resilient member 45 fixed to the movable iron core 18 abuts against a receiving surface 17b of the stationary iron core 17 before the movable iron core 18 abuts against the stationary iron core 17, and thereby a closed space is formed between the movable iron core 18 and the stationary iron core 17. In addition, the resilient member 45 holds the sealing characteristic of the closed space until the movable iron core 18 abuts against the stationary iron core 17 after the resilient member 45 abuts against the receiving surface 17b of the stationary iron core 17. With this arrangement, since a damping effect of an air filled in the closed space may act in a period from the abutment of the resilient member 45 against the receiving surface 17b to the abutment of the movable iron core 18 against the stationary iron core 17, the impact when the movable iron core 18 collides with the stationary iron core 17 can be dampened to reduce the collision sound. |
