This process for producing a conjugated diolefin has the following configuration. A C4 or higher monoolefin is fed through monoolefin supply nozzles disposed at n positions (n=1, 2, ··, n). At least 50% of the total amount of an oxygen-containing gas is supplied through an oxygen-containing-gas supply nozzle located at the bottom of the fluidized-bed reactor. The C4 or higher monoolefin is fed through the monoolefin supply nozzles, which are located at distances of a1, a2, ···, and an from the oxygen-containing-gas supply nozzle, respectively in proportions of b1, b2, ···, and bn (b1+b2+··+bn=1).
