摘要 Provided is a laser device that includes an optical fiber laser section that includes: an optical fiber for amplification; a plurality of excitation light sources that output excitation light for photoexcitation of the optical fiber for amplification; and a control section for controlling the excitation light sources. When receiving an instruction value for supplying a predetermined driving current to each excitation light source, the control section performs a controlling operation of supplying a correction current value as driving current to each excitation light source, the correction current value being obtained by multiplying an initial current value corresponding to the instruction value by a correction coefficient. The correction coefficient is set so that the lowering with time of the intensity of the laser light that is output from the optical fiber laser section should be suppressed. The laser device thus provided is capable of outputting laser light having a stable intensity.
