<p>Provided is a glare cut cap and lighting equipment equipped with the glare cut cap, which effectively use even direct light from a light source that was conventionally interrupted by the glare cut cap as illumination light. A glare cut cap (30) is made of a light transmissive material and formed in a shape to function as a lens or a prism to control light that enters inside the glare cut cap from an opening (31) by diffusing, converging, scattering and/or refracting the light into a prescribed state when light passes therethrough. The glare cut cap (30) is mounted at the tip part of a light source (10) in a lighting equipment (1) which includes the light source (10), and a reflector (20) which reflects light from the light source (10) to emit the light forward, so that an opening edge (31a) is positioned on a line (γ) that extends from a top end (β) on the inner surface of a cone (50) so as to be in contact with the outer surface of a light emitting part (α) in the light source (10).</p> |
