<p>In order to enable a portable information terminal to be held at a position desired by a user, a cradle capable of holding a first portable information terminal and a larger second portable information terminal has a main cradle body with a main mounting surface which is slanted with respect to a level surface. A terminal cover which can be attached to the lower end of the main mounting surface supports the lower end of the portable information terminal. An extending holding member of the main cradle body has an extending mounting surface which can be moved parallel to the main mounting surface, and enables holding of the second portable information terminal when the extending holding member is extended to a predetermined extension position, said extending holding member being provided on a first lateral-edge side of the main cradle body and having a sliding plate which can be slid inside the main cradle body. Multiple cradle tabs provided on the main mounting surface are collapsed into the main mounting surface when folded, but project from the main mounting surface when raised and become able to support the lower end of the first portable information terminal on the main mounting surface.</p> |
