Provided are a stand and a display device having the same. The stand includes brackets formed to be slim as much as possible to have a beautiful appearance and a neck for fixing the brackets crossed and connected each other in order to have reinforced stiffness. The display device comprises a display module and a stand for supporting the display module, wherein the stand includes a pair of brackets which are made of pipes having a cross section of a ring shape to support the display module and which have both ends compressed; a neck which has an upper part coupled to the display module and a lower part for fixing the brackets whose center parts are crossed and connected each other in an X-shape; and a mold for covering the brackets and the neck to form the appearance. |
