The present invention relates to an active armrest. The active armrest, provided in the present invention, includes: a main body unit; an upper joint unit which is coupled to the main body unit which includes a rotatable biaxial joint; a shoulder joint unit which is connected to the upper joint by at least one as a biaxial joint; an elbow joint which is connected to the shoulder joint which has a biaxial joint; an armrest which is connected to the elbow joint where the arms can be rested; a switch which is mounted to the armrest, so as to be selectively pressurized; and a control unit which fixes the positions of the upper joint, shoulder joint, and elbow joint during a situation where the switch is pressurized. |
