<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new type electrooptical device which performs viewing angle control by utilizing property such as addition color mixture of colored light, and to provide an electronic device having the electrooptical device. <P>SOLUTION: When an image is displayed on an electrooptical panel 100p, the light emitted from a subpixel 1S for viewing angle control is shielded by a light-shielding barrier 29 from a person standing in front of the electrooptical panel 100p. Consequently, the person in front of the electrooptical panel 100p can see an image displayed by the light emitted from a first subpixel 1R, a second subpixel 1G, and a third subpixel 1B. With respect to this, the light emitted from the subpixel 1S for viewing angle control reaches a person located in an oblique direction to the electrooptical panel 100p, while a part of the light emitted from the first subpixel 1R; and the second subpixel 1G, and the third subpixel 1B is shielded by the light-shielding barrier 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
