<p>The method involves forming a period of the pulse width modulation (PWM) of a switch-on, a switch-off and two edge areas. The voltage curve is determined by the electrical load (19). The current flow is detected by the electrical load. The actual performance in the electrical load is determined by the voltage waveform and the current waveform. The actual power is compared with a predetermined desired power. The duty ratio of the pulse width modulation is changed so that the actual output power correspond to the target power.
