PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device of a vehicle seat wherein a locking state of regulating the rotation of a ratchet relative to a guide can be strengthened while keeping high engaging strength between inner peripheral teeth of the ratchet and the outer peripheral teeth of poles, and wherein rattle occurring between the ratchet and the guide is eliminated. SOLUTION: When the inner peripheral teeth 32a of the ratchet 30 engage with the outer peripheral teeth 50a and 50a of a pair of poles 50 and 50 to integrate the poles 50 and 50 with the ratchet 30, a reclining device 20 comes into the locking state of regulating the rotation of the ratchet 30 relative to a guide 40. In the locking state, in order to press the poles 50 and 50 to one-side guide wall surfaces 47a and 47a, an outer peripheral ring 90 is provided with an abutting and supporting portion which abuts on and supports the ratchet 30 from the direction crossing with the slide-moving direction of the pair of poles 50 and 50.
