The present invention provides a cosmetic that contains glycerin modified on both ends with silicone represented by the following general formula (a).
(a) In this formula, R1 denotes a straight chain or branched alkyl group having 1-12 carbon atoms or phenyl group, R2 denotes an alkylene group having 2-11 carbon atoms, m is 10-120, and n is 1-11. The object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic that contains glycerin modified on both ends with silicone and is superior in terms of the sensation during use and the powder dispersion stability.
