<p>A foodstuff piping device 1 comprising a body 2 configured to cradle a food cartridge 3 arranged in use to contain a quantity of semi-solid foodstuff. The device comprises a plunger (6, fig 5) connected to the body and arranged in use so that at least part of the plunger is linearly moveable relative to the body so as to exert pressure on the foodstuff in the cartridge. The device further comprises a plunger activating means 8 in the form of a lever configured to activate operation of the plunger. The food cartridge is provided with first and second opposed apertures and a base cap slidable within the cartridge body. The edges of the cap remain in contact with the inner surface of the cartridge during movement. The base cap may be provided with a protrusion with complements a groove formed on the inner surface of the cartridge. The second aperture may be provided with a selection of nozzles.</p> |
