摘要 Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for controlling shift quality of a hybrid vehicle. The method for controlling shift quality of the hybrid vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: resetting and storing a previously set transmission pattern based on a throttle valve opening value which controls the RPM of an output shaft of a transmission and a mass air flow; setting one of a shift quality control mode before stop and a power on down shift quality control mode through the RPM of the output shaft, the throttle valve opening value, an engine torque, and the previously set target RPM; setting a target change gear based on the RPM of the output shaft, the throttle valve opening value, and the previously set transmission pattern; and controlling hydraulic pressure of operation elements and friction elements set corresponding to the set target change gear, thereby securing safety of the vehicle during gear shift by a demand for 2-1 or 3-1 shift and enhancing shift quality of the transmission before stop.
