The present invention relates to a method for preventing the loss of a portable wireless communications device using a wireless communications routing device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a wireless communications routing device, a mobile router including the same, and a method for preventing the loss of the portable wireless communications device, wherein the wireless communications routing device includes a wireless communications unit which communicates with a mobile communications network and the portable wireless communications device wirelessly, and generates a detection signal according to the status of the wireless connection to the portable wireless communications device; a control unit which outputs a loss prevention control signal by receiving the detection signal and determining whether the device is lost or not; and an alarm unit which receives the output signal from the control unit and warns of the risk of loss.
