Provided is an air conditioner for a vehicle comprising: an air-conditioning case having an air inlet and a plurality of air outlets; an evaporator disposed inside the air-conditioning case; a heater core disposed at the rear of the evaporator; and a mixed door part disposed between the evaporator and the heater core to regulate the opening degree of a cooling flow channel bypassing the heater core and a heating flow channel passing through the heater core, wherein the mixed door part comprises: a sliding door which slides between the evaporator and the heater core to regulate the opening degree of the cooling flow channel and the heating flow channel; a rotary shaft part which is disposed at one side of the sliding door and rotated by a driving part; and moving means which are respectively disposed at the sliding door and the rotary shaft part to engage with each other and make the sliding door slide according to rotation of the rotary shaft part. Therefore, the air conditioner can reduce the size of the air-conditioning case to realize a compact size because the mixed door does not adopt a hinge structure requiring a predetermined radius of rotation but a sliding door structure.
