Disclosed are a femtocell operation and maintenance system and method for resolving interference between femto base stations. The femtocell operation and maintenance (O&M) method includes the steps of receiving, from multiple femto base stations, a list of interference base stations of a femto terminal managed by the multiple femto base stations; generating an interference graph showing an interference relation between the multiple femto base stations based on the list of interference base stations; dividing the multiple femto base stations into multiple groups based on the generated interference graph; and allocating resources to at least one femto base station included in the multiple groups based on vertex coloring theory.
