<p>The device (1) has a support plate (38) fixed at a frame (2) to support and guide a product in an upright position. A cutting knife is arranged in a vertically aligned press bar (10), which is movable in a right angle to longitudinal direction of the plate. The product is pressed against an opposite bar (8) of the frame. The press bar is moved by a crankshaft, crank arms (31a, 31b) and connecting rods (33a, 33b). The rods are arranged between the arms and the press bar. The knife is arranged in a knife carriage (17) and vertically movable along the press bar.</p> |
