A light-emitting diode lamp includes a lamp cap 302, a power supply 304, a lamp body 306 and one or more optical elements 308. The lamp body 306 is injection moulded with circuitry 310 to which at least one LED 312 is soldered. The circuitry 310 aids electrical connection between the power supply 304 and the LED 312. The LED lamp includes at least one spring-type electrical connection 316, 324 between the power supply 304 and the circuitry 310 that is established whilst the lamp cap, the power supply, the lamp body and the optical elements are assembled together. The spring-type electrical connection is maintained by at least one mechanical connection 320, 322 that holds two or more of the lamp cap, the power supply, the lamp body and the optical elements together. |
