A device 10 for hanging signs on a ceiling comprises two parallel extendable poles 11 offset from each other, each pole includes at least two telescopic sections12, 13, 12, 13, one section of each pole 12, 12 includes a handle 14 and the other section 13, 13 an anchor placement means 18 suitable for retaining an anchor (4, fig 4b) for hanging signs on a ceiling; the extendable poles 11 are joined by a plurality of bars 16, 17.
