PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage device capable of preventing inconsistency of users and articles set to a storage part. SOLUTION: By a selecting operation on a storage part selection screen, a prescribed storage part is selected (step S31). Then, an article is selected (step S32), and the article is set as the article of the storage part (step S37). When the security level of the storage part is lower than the highest security level among the articles already set to the storage part (YES in step S38), a control part raises the security level of the storage part to the highest security level of the article (step S39). Then, a user candidate display screen is displayed on a touch panel LCD (step S40).
