A precise fluorescence image having few factors that degrade an image quality is obtained. Provided is a fluorescence endoscope device (100) that includes a light source (10) that irradiates an observation target site (X) with excitation light and white light; an image generating portion (41) that captures an image of fluorescence generated at the observation target site (X) due to the irradiation with the excitation light to obtain a fluorescence image and that captures an image of return light returning from the observation target site (X) due to the irradiation with the white light to obtain a white-light image; a dividing portion (43) that divides the fluorescence image by the white-light image to generate a divided fluorescence image; a coordinate extracting portion (47) that extracts a second region of the divided fluorescence image having a gradation value higher than the second threshold; a fluorescence-image correcting portion (49) that extracts a first region having a gradation value higher than a first threshold in the fluorescence image and generates a corrected fluorescence image in which an overlap region that overlaps the second region of the divided fluorescence image extracted by the coordinate extracting portion (47) is extracted; and a monitor (50) that displays the corrected fluorescence image. |
