PURPOSE: A reforming reaction apparatus, and a controlling method thereof are provided to reduce energy, and to obtain a high value added material by obtaining carbon monoxide and hydrogen from a tar and carbonization transfer material by using the thermal energy of a coking chamber. CONSTITUTION: A reforming reaction apparatus comprises: a reforming reactor (110) connected to a coking chamber (30), taking the thermal energy of the coking chamber; a mixture spraying unit (120) spraying the oxygen and the reforming material in the reforming reactor; and a heating chamber (130) inducing an oxygenation of the reforming material by heating the oxygen and reforming material. A controlling method of the reforming reaction apparatus comprises the steps of: supplying the thermal every of the coking chamber to the reforming reactor; spraying the reforming material and oxygen to the reforming reactor; and reacting the reforming material and oxygen by heating the reforming material and oxygen. |
