PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception device that reduces a wide-band unwanted wave. SOLUTION: The reception device 10 includes a notch filter 8 and a filter controller 14. The filter controller 14 estimates a center frequency f<SB>0</SB>and a stop band width W<SB>0</SB>of the unwanted wave based upon a signal of a frequency region from an FFT 13, and outputs the estimated center frequency f<SB>0</SB>and stop band width W<SB>0</SB>to the notch filter 8. The notch filter 8 reduces a frequency band determined by the center frequency f<SB>0</SB>and stop band width W<SB>0</SB>received from the filter controller 14, i.e. the band of the unwanted wave from a base band signal. Consequently, when the band of the unwanted wave becomes wide, the estimated stop band width W<SB>0</SB>increases. Then the notch filter 8 reduces the band of the unwanted waves from the base band signal using the stop band width W<SB>0</SB>which has been increased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
