<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplexed computer network system which allows an application for 1-system network to be applied more easily and improve the system reliability. <P>SOLUTION: Network SWs 20a and 20b are connected to an A-system network 3a and a B-system network 3b respectively, and an A-system computer 1a and a B-system computer 1b are connected to two-branching and connecting devices 10a and 10b respectively. Here, the 2-branching and connecting devices 10a and 10b branch each transmission path 11 from the A-system and B-system computers 1a and 1b into two transmission paths 12 and 13 for connection to the network SWs 20a and 20b respectively. The active-system A-system computer 1a determines presence/absence of communication failures based on a reception condition of response packets obtained by transmitting monitoring packets to the network SWs 20a and 20b. When the communication failures with both network SWs 20a and 20b are detected, the A-system computer 1a itself transits to a standby-system, and makes the B-system computer 1b transit to the active-system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
