A method for authenticating a user using a vibration indicator is disclosed. The method for authenticating a user comprises: a first step for providing an input screen consisting of a dial area, in which a plurality of indicators is arranged in a circle, and which is rotated by touch and drag, a fixed character string, in which a plurality of characters is matched to each indicator of the dial area one to one to be arranged, and a reference bar, which indicates one among the indicators; a second step for generating vibration at any point of time while the dial area is rotated by touch and drag of a user, and memorizing an indicator, which the reference bar indicates, at the time when the vibration is generated; and a third step for receiving, as a password of the user, a character of a position where the memorized indicator is matched in the fixed character string at the time when the touch and drag for the dial area is released. |
