PURPOSE: An internal combustion engine system for vessels and an exhaust gas purification system proper for the same are provided to prevent the temperature of exhaust gas from falling under an activation temperature of catalysts by controlling amount of the exhaust gas, which is not passing through a wet scrubber. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine system for vessels comprises a diesel engine(110) and an exhaust gas purification system(20). The exhaust gas purification system purifies exhaust gas generated from the diesel engine. The exhaust gas purification system comprises denitrification equipment(212), a wet scrubber(211), a bypass line(22), and a flow rate control valve(24). The denitrification equipment removes NOx(Nitrogen Oxide) in the exhaust gas using a reducing agent. The wet scrubber is installed in an upper part of the denitrification equipment. The wet scrubber reduces foreign materials in the exhaust gas using seawater in advance. The bypass line is connected from a top of the wet scrubber to a front end]of the denitrification equipment. The flow rate control valve controls a flow rate of the exhaust gas flowing into the denitrification equipment through the bypass line, and the flow rate of the exhaust gas passing through the wet scrubber. |
