According to the present invention, provided is a traffic safety system at a crosswalk, comprising a first traffic light (100) and a second traffic light (200) disposed at both sides of a crosswalk (400); a living organism detection unit detecting a living organism within the crosswalk (400) area; and a safety device unit for the safety of the living organism within the crosswalk (400) area, based on output signals of the first traffic light (100), the second traffic light (200), and the living organism detection unit. The traffic safety system at the crosswalk prevents accidents at the crosswalk in advance by being based on the output signals of the living organism detection unit in addition to the output signals of the traffic lights even for an unexpected pedestrian or adults ignoring the traffic lights. |
