The present invention relates to a touch panel and a manufacturing method thereof. The touch panel according to the present invention includes: a transparent substrate; a first sensing electrode which is formed on a surface of the transparent substrate in a first direction and senses a change in capacitance upon receiving a touch input; a second sensing electrode which is formed on a surface being spaced apart and parallel to the surface where the first sensing electrode is formed on in the first direction to alternate the first sensing electrode and senses a change in capacitance upon receiving a touch input; and a driving electrode which is formed in a second direction intersecting the first direction on the other surface of the transparent substrate. The touch panel includes multiple sensing electrode layers to enhance the sensitivity.
