<p>A vehicle monitoring system for securing vehicles comprises proximity sensors (300, figure 1), cameras 200 fitted to the interior and exterior of a vehicle and a user interface (figure 3) for receiving information from the sensors and cameras, wherein the user interface is configured to redirect information to an external device that may be a personal computing device or a smart phone. The user interface preferably has controls and a screen and may be configured to allow a user to view footage from the cameras and change the camera views, check the vehicle status, view command menus and input commands. Preferably the interface transmits an alert to the external device if there is a change in circumstances.</p> |
