The present invention relates to a method for preparing plate-shaped alumina, comprising: (1) a step of wet-grinding and mixing ultra-fine aluminum hydroxide, a crystal growth regulatory agent, and a dispersant then filtering and drying thereof; (2) a step of heating the dried substance obtained from step (1) at 5-15°C per minute and heat-treating at 900-1300°C; and a step of wet-crushing the product obtained from step (2) then filtering and drying thereof. According to the method of the present invention, plate-shaped alumina with almost no aggregation and excellent dispersibility thereby having narrow particle-size distribution (having uniform particle-size distribution) can be mass produced with more convenience. |
