The present invention provides bag mouth opening method and apparatus that is capable of accurately and stably opening a bag mouth of a spout-clamped bag in a desired shape, wherein the spout-clamp bag has a spout on an upper edge thereof. Clamps (31, 32) of spout clamping members (29, 30) which are openable by means of a first air cylinder (28) of a spout maintenance apparatus (21) adjust a spout inclined with respect to a bag (B) to have a position without being inclined and then clamp the spout. Here, the first air cylinder is maintained at its initial position in a width direction of the bag by means of a second air cylinder (35) through four-fold links constituted by a plate (38) to which a connection rod is attached, the connection rod (39), a connection plate (40), and a second support arm (25). A pressure of the inside of the second air cylinder becomes atmospheric pressure, and the first air cylinder and the clamping members attached to the air cylinder may freely move in the width direction of the bag. Here, the bag is disposed between according to a movement of the grasp member when a separating operation of a pair of adsorptions (C) of a bag mouth opening device (15) and an approaching operation of a pair of grasp members grasping both edges of the bag (B) start. |
