<p>A cascade unit (1) for a heating system with two or more heating boilers (2), a hydraulic shunt (5) which is connected first with the inlet and return flows of the boilers (2) and second with at least one heating circuit inlet flow (55) and heating circuit return flow (56) each, with the cascade unit (1) furthermore comprising one each of the horizontally extending boiler inlet flow header (3) and boiler return flow manifold (4), both being connected with the hydraulic shunt (5), and designed with prepared connecting nozzles (32, 42) fittingly placed for a group of heating boilers (2) to connect the heating boiler inlet flows and heating boiler return flows. The unit forms at least one self-supporting support frame (10) on which at least one of the heating boilers (2) (each) is mountable, whereby the boiler does not require separate support, the header and manifold are space apart in a common plane, and branch piping sections act as bearing elements.</p> |
