PURPOSE: A network game system using a location based service and a method thereof are provided to generate the interest of a user by providing various services to a user based on an area. CONSTITUTION: A member store terminal(100) transmits member store location information to a management server(200). The management server transmits the member store information and virtual possession area information to the user terminal according to the game participation of the user terminal by searching location information. The management server transmits the member store information according to a relationship between the user terminal and the virtual possession area.
