The present invention relates to a method for enrichment culture of salt-tolerant microorganisms capable of removing perchlorate and nitrate contained in waste water and underground water. A microorganism culture liquid obtained by the method of the present invention can efficiently remove perchlorate and nitrate from contaminated underground water or waste water, and thus is usable as inoculation seeds for a reactor or an apparatus for continuously processing the contaminants, so that, finally, industrial water and agricultural water can be secured in an economical manner. The method of the present invention can reduce the perchlolate or nitrate, which is dissolved in salty water in a waste recycling liquid generated after perchlorate or nitrate is processed by an ion exchange method, using salt-tolerant microorganisms PRB or NFB, to below the analysis limit (0.62μg ClO_4^-/L; 47.6μg NO_3^--N/L). Further, according to the present invention, since sulfur particles are used as an electron donor in the enrichment culture liquid, the sulfur particle itself acts as a carrier, thereby making a separate carrier unnecessary and achieving a simpler process and less treatment costs as compared with the existing method. |
