A rotatable rake member comprises a central part 1 and resilient tines each of which has a working part 10 and a connecting portion 5, wound helically on elongated element 3 being connected with the central part 1 so as to extend substantially radially with respect to the axis of rotation of the rake member. The helical portion 5 of each tine'has an extension 6 which is secured in a hole in an adjacent element 3 and is held between two turns of the portion 5 wound on the adjacent element. In Fig. 4 the elongated elements comprise sleeves secured to a felly by means of nuts and bolts. The rake member may also take the form of a rotatable drum.
