Disclosed is a capsule endoscope system capable of manufacturing a compact capsule-type imaging unit, significantly reducing blind spots in imaging, improving data rate, providing reliable data, minimizing impact of electronic waves on a human body, drawing accurate image reading results, and enhancing management efficiency through a link with a smart phone. The capsule endoscope system includes a capsule-type imaging unit which is swallowed by an examinee and takes images while moving inside the alimentary canal by the peristalsis of the digestive organs; a control unit which is placed outside the examinee and performs image processing on the data received from the capsule-type imaging unit wirelessly through ultra wide band (UWB) communications; and a display unit which is connected to the control unit and displays the data from the control unit.
