Animal feed contains as a growth-promotant N-p-chlorobenzhydryl-N1-hydroxyethoxyethylpiperazine or a salt thereof with a non-toxic organic or inorganic acid, preferably in an amount between 0,2 mg. and 30 mg. per ton of feed. Examples are directed to feeds containing the dihydrochloride of the piperzaine compound. |
