The present invention relates to a method of controlling the combustion of a blast furnace. When a dome temperature of the blast furnace is abnormal, a mixed firing ratio and an air fuel ratio are controlled based on the interface temperature of a combustion chamber, the temperature of a grid in a regenerator, and the temperature of exhaust gas at an output side of the regenerator according to modeled combustion patterns based on combustion data stored in a normal operation, so that combustion control can be performed normally even if the dome temperature is abnormal.
