A lip cosmetic composition which contains the following components (a) and (b): (a) a wax that contains at least (a1) a hydrocarbon wax having a penetration at 25°C of 5-20 and (a2) a hydrocarbon wax having a penetration at 25°C of more than 20 but 110 or less, said wax being contained in an amount of 1-9% by mass in the total cosmetic composition; and (b) an oil agent that is in a liquid state or in a paste state at 25°C. The mass ratio of the component (a1) to the component (a2), namely, (a1)/(a2) is from 1/17 to 80/1; the mass ratio of the total of the component (a1) and the component (a2) to the component (b), namely, ((a1) + (a2))/(b) is from 0.02 to 0.12; the component (b) has a viscosity at 25°C of 500-10,000 mPa·s; and the cosmetic composition has a penetration hardness at 30°C with a 10 mmf jig of 0.5-9 N. |
