PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite bat that has high strength over the entire bat, achieves the excellent striking touches, and is excellent in a vibration attenuation property, that is, a damping performance.SOLUTION: A composite bat comprises: a core member 2 that has a ball hitting part, a tapered part, and a grip part, formed by an unbroken aluminum material; and a cover member 3 that is formed by a resin or fiber-reinforced plastic and covers from the grip part to the outer face of the tapered part of the core member 2. In the fiber-reinforced plastic configuring the cover member 3, fibers are made into plural layers in the thickness direction, and fibers of at least two layers of the plural layers have combinations of angles of equal to or more than 45° and less than 90° clockwise and counterclockwise from the axial direction of the core member 2. |
