PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control device and an elevator control method, capable of improving the convenience of users by giving information about the state of waiting users on an elevator landing of each floor to users on landings of the other floors.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an elevator control device for group control of a plurality of elevators in a building comprises: a car position information display control section; a photographic image acquisition section; an image analysis section; and a landing information display control section. The car position information display control section displays present position information of each car on a car position information display device at a landing of each floor. The photographic image acquisition section acquires image information photographed by a camera device installed at each landing. The image analysis section acquires landing information of each floor by analyzing the acquired image information. The landing information display control section displays the acquired landing information on a landing information display device installed at each landing. |
