PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module for which an insulation inspection can be performed easily using a simple configuration without increasing work processes, and an insulation inspection method for the battery module.SOLUTION: A battery module includes a metal casing and a battery cell accommodated in the casing. The casing includes an insulating layer 8 and a rivet 11 serving as a conductive part, on the external surface thereof. In an insulation inspection method for a battery module that includes a metal casing having an external surface on which an insulating layer 8 is formed and a battery cell accommodated in the casing, an insulation inspection is performed via a rivet 11 provided on the external surface of the casing and serving as a conductive part. |
