PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber with a satisfactory X-ray attenuation factor suitable for clothing reducing X-ray exposure and stably producible.SOLUTION: Provided is an X-ray attenuation fiber comprising a polyamide layer with a relative viscosity of 2.3 to 2.6 including barium sulfate particles in which the average particle diameter (50% diameter in volume accumulation) by laser diffraction-scattering type particle size distribution measurement is 0.5 to 0.7 μm, volume accumulation in 90% diameter is 2.0 μm or lower by 20 to 35 vol.%, and the volume ratio of the polyamide layer is 45 to 70%. |
