PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the rapid variation of damping force during the time of reversing process of a buffer.SOLUTION: A spring top velocity V1 is detected by a spring top acceleration sensor 8 and an integrator 12. A relative velocity V2 between a body 1 and a wheel 2 is detected by the spring top acceleration sensor 8, a spring bottom acceleration sensor 9, a subtractor 14, and an integrator 13. A target damping coefficient C which is equivalent to the inclination of damping force to the relative velocity V2 is calculated by a target damping force calculator 15, a damping force controller 16, and a damping coefficient calculator 17. Using a maximum damping coefficient map 18 and a minimum value selector 19, a corrected damping coefficient Ca is calculated which reduces the upper limit of the target damping coefficient C when the relative velocity V2 is at a low speed. A command current value I is determined by a damping coefficient map 20 based on the corrected damping coefficient Ca and the relative velocity V2. |
