PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating cooker with high safety by detecting and controlling presence/absence of a heating plate.SOLUTION: Illuminance detection means 5 for detecting the brightness of a heating chamber illumination 4 is provided at a position hidden by a heating plate 1 when the heating plate 1 is placed between guides 3 provided on both side surfaces of a heating chamber 2. When the heating plate 1 is placed at the guide 3, and the illuminance detection means 5 cannot detect the brightness and also when heating is started by high frequency heating means 9 being selected, a high frequency heating cooker determines that an unused heating plate 1 is placed, it stops heating and it displays at display means 6 that heating has been stopped. Thereby, even when the metal heating plate 1 dedicated to heater heating is mistakenly used at the time of high frequency heating and cooking, heating is stopped immediately, and erroneous usage can be notified to a user, so that usability and safety can be improved. |
