PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase which has a simple construction and can be easily constructed on a construction site, of which layout can be freely set, which can secure safety of a pedestrian, and which is properly used as evacuation means when a disaster occurs, and a construction method for the staircase.SOLUTION: A staircase 10 includes: a plurality of step board members 14; a plurality of support members 12 fixed to an inclined plane A so as to be vertically erected, supporting the plurality of step board members 14 nearly horizontally, and supporting the plurality of step board members 14 sequentially stepwise along a desired ascent direction of the inclined plane A; connection parts 18a, 18b arranged at intervals at intermediate parts in the axial direction of the support members 12 so as to be parallel to top faces of the step board members 14, and each detachably connecting the step board member 14 and the support member 12 to each other; and a handrail member 16 arranged at least on one side in the lateral direction of the step board members 14, viewing in the ascent direction, and supported by the support members 12. |
