PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a multiple color with accuracy over a long time period even when printing on paper of a different type from one preliminarily stored without limiting a type of paper.SOLUTION: After an image indicated by image information is searched for a colorimetry adaptive area suitable for colorimetry, an algorithm representing a relation between an output color preliminarily stored for each of Y, C, M, K toner images and a setting value of an image processing parameter is calculated. On the basis of a difference between a measurement color that is a result of colorimetry of the colorimetry adaptive area of a multiple color toner image formed on the basis of the image information and a reference color that is an original color, an area ratio in the colorimetry adaptive area of the Y, C, M, K toner images in the multiple colors toner image, a colorimetry value of a recording sheet that is preliminarily stored and the colorimetry result of the recording sheet used for the colorimetry, and a current setting value of the image processing parameter, a correction amount for the image processing parameter for further reducing the difference is determined. Then, the image processing parameter is corrected on the basis of the correction amount. |
